Notice of a Referral (I. Furtado) to be heard by the Disciplinary Panel on Wednesday 27 March

An independent Disciplinary Panel will convene on Wednesday 27 March to consider two Plea Agreements regarding the following separate matters:

- Mr Furtado is charged with a breach of Rule (K)2.1 (The Responsible Person must ensure that no Category A Prohibited Substance is present in their horse’s body at any time) following the horse DARK KRIS testing positive for meptazinol following a run at Chelmsford on 22 September 2022. - Mr Furtado is charged with a breach of Paragraph 7.1 of the Trainer Code, Rule (D)24, and Rule (B)29.4 of the Rules of Racing on two counts.

1. The Panel for the hearing will be: HH James O’Mahony, Manuela Rudgeway and Judith Findley.
